Day 01
Arrive Guwahati

Welcome to your 'Green triangle of northeast' Tour! On arrival at the airport in Guwahati, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. En route visit Kamakhya Temple and Assam State Museum.
Kamakhya Temple is dedicated to goddess Kamakhya, an incarnation of Sati. It is one of the most venerated Shakti shrines in India, and is regarded as one of the 51 Shakti peethams associated with the legend of Shiva and Daksha Yagna. Kamakhya is located on a hill - Neelachala Parvat or Kamagiri near the city of Guwahati in Assam.
The Assam State Museum is located in the southern end of Dighali Pukhuri tank which is in the heart of Guwahati. The museum is widely recognised for its astounding collection of antiques dating back to the prehistoric era. Be enthralled as you observe the reconstructed tribal huts and the fascinating display of weaving and musical instruments here.On arrival check in to the hotel.

Day 02
Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (200 km / approx. 5 hours drive)

After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park in the heart of Assam. Kaziranga National Park was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006 since it hosts the highest density of tigers amongst all protected areas in the world On arrival, check in to the hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure for Independent activities.

Day 03
Kaziranga National Park

The morning is leisure one can opt to enjoy Elephant safari (on direct payment basis).
Later in the afternoon, embark on a Jeep safari at Kaziranga National Park, one of the oldest national parks in India.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing two-third of the world one-horned rhinoceros population. Birdlife International, a conservation organisation has identified Kaziranga National Park as an Important Bird Area owing to its wide variety of bird life.
The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activities .

Day 04
Kaziranga - Shillong (260 km /approx 7 hours drive )

After breakfast, drive to Shillong, often known as the 'Scotland of the East'. En route visit Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills.
On arrival in Shillong, check in to the hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities.

Day 05
Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong (60 km /approx 2 hours one way)

After an early breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world, where you will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. At Nohkalikai Falls, you can enjoy the sight of water falling from 1,100 feet through the green forest. Trek through some of the amazing terrain and watch a great variety of birds You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai.
Later in the evening, return to Shillong, en route visit the Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views.
The rest of the day is at leisure for various activities.

Day 06
Shillong Mawlynnong Village - Shillong (80 km /approx 3 hours one way)

Today after breakfast, proceed to explore the Mawlynnong Village - the cleanest village in Asia. Mawlynnong, is a small village located at 90 km from Shillong near the Bangladesh border. The village is known for its cleanliness and has received international recognition as cleanest village in Asia in 2003 and cleanest village in India in 2005. The total 95 households from this village have 100 percent literacy. Mawlynnong look more beautiful during the monsoons, with lush greenery and waterfalls making it a true delight of nature. The live root bridge is one of the interesting sights which you can spot in Mawlynnong.
. Later, drive back to shillong.
On arrival, check in to the hotel.

Day 07
Depart Shillong - Guwahati airport (100 km / approx. 3 hours drive)

Today, bid farewell to your 'Green triangle of northeast' tour as you are transferred to the airport in Guwahati for your onward journey.
